That's a pretty solid list. There's also the whole thing about the amount of followers you have vs the amount youre following. Which I can't stand. I mean, I look at their tweets before I decide If I'm going to follow them or not.

Do you mean @__________ on your twitter feed? Because I find these really boring. When I go to someone's twitter page and all I see are a bunch of @___________ private responses to someone, and when you click on that person's feed, you have no idea which tweet they are having a conversation about. Maybe I just don't get it really. Can you explain?

It looks to me like you?ve just got a CSS problem, not a javascript problem. Adding:.textwidget{background: #FFFFFF;}to your stylesheet should give you the white background, but if you want it to look exactly like the other widgets, (with rouned corners and same fonts) you?ll need to make sure the textwidget class has the same css as sidebar ul.If you need a better explanation or just want me to fix it for you fill free to email me.

Amen to this one. It's ok when it's a couple of replies back and forth but when someone starts having lengthy conversations in the public timeline it can be REALLY annoying. I have unfollowed people for this reason alone.

The idea if putting your Twitter url on blog comments is pretty creative however I'd rahter send visitors to my blog and there is an option to follow me on Twitter there so they can follow me if they want from my blog.

PS: What is intense debate? I have never heard of this before.
